(More customer reviews)I connected this unit to a DC LED rope light. The load from the rope lights was 2 AMPS which is less then one half of the rated 5 AMP output capacity of the power supply; which I verified with an AMP meter. The pyramid power supply overheats and goes to half voltage after 30 minutes. Cheap. I replaced the unit with a competitors standard low voltage, plastic case, inexpensive laptop power supply which worked fine.
