(More customer reviews)This is the most affordable series of power supplies I could find on the web. My application is running a car radio in my garage so I can have music while I work. The car lighter socket is a bonus - I've already used it to charge a bluetooth headset using a car charger (I know, I could have put it in the car, but this was easier).
The build is pretty good - there is some exposed wiring on the back that could be a problem if you dropped a screwdriver down between the heatsink and the back of the case. It's heavy (big transformer) and has a solid power cable.
